Blind Boys of Alabama

Kaki King's SEI with Tamar Eisenman

Kaki King, the first female on Rolling Stone's "guitar god" list, is a true iconoclast. She is lauded for her percussive and jazz-tinged melodies, stunning live shows and use of multiple tunings on acoustic and lap steel guitar. Kaki’s latest innovation, SEI ("six" in Italian), absorbs the entire stage, as guitarists become dancers, performing the rigors of both choreography and composition. Watkins Family Hour

Two-thirds of the award-winning Nickel Creek, siblings Sean and Sara Watkins formed Watkins Family Hour in 2002 as an outlet to try out original songs and covers with a rotating guest list of celebrity and celebrated musician friends.  Taking up residence at LA’s prestigious club Largo, the spot became a welcoming home for the ensemble, whose improvisational performances resulted in a 2015 album release.  With the pandemic in full swing, the duo was able to spend ample time in the studio revising, revisiting, and revamping favorite old and new material.
